(Verdienstkreuz des Ordens vom Deutschen Adler III. Klasse mit Schwertern, Verleihungsurkunde mit weiteren Papieren). An award document presentation set of an Order of the German Eagle, III Class Cross with Swords, consisting of a primary award certificate, constructed of cream-coloured paper stock, the obverse bearing a black ink dedication, with a typewritten recipient’s name and rank of “LEUTNANT DON EDUARDO LASA REPARAZ”, issued in Berlin on 5 June 1939, certified by the facsimile signatures of the Führer and Staatsminister Otto Meissner, flanked by an embossed seal, measuring 24 cm (w) x 35 cm (h), accompanied by the statutes of the award, presented in a booklet consisting of a cream-coloured card stock binding with non-paginated interior pages featuring provisions in black Fraktur script, measuring 21 cm (w) x 30 cm (h), both secreted within their original folio, constructed of cream-coloured card stock, the cover bearing a gilt NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 25 cm (w) x 36 cm (h), all demonstrating minor and age-appropriate discolouration, an award document to a Spanish Officer undoubtedly bestowed for distinguished services in the Civil War and to Spanish-German relations in extremely fine condition.
Footnote: Records indicate that Eduard Lasa Reparaz served in the Carlist Requeté during the Spanish Civil War, and was involved in the campaign of Gipuzkoa.
