Germany, Third Reich. A SS Standarte-1 “Deutschland” Scharführer Collar Tabs

(SS Standarte 1 “Deutschland” Scharführer Kragenspiegel). A matching set of SS Standarte-1 “Deutschland” Scharführer rank collar tabs, consisting of a left and right collar tab, constructed of a black wool upper and a buckram core, one tab with a silver aluminum bullion hand embroidered set of SS Sig runes and the numeral “1” denoting use by the Standarte Deutschland, the other tab with a single silvered zink rank pip and a horizontally running strip of silver aluminum bullion tresse towards the bottom of the tab, both tabs are edged by piping consisting of alternative black string and silver aluminum bullion wires, measuring 58 mm (w) x 44 mm (l), approximately half the piping of the rank tab has become loose and is dangling off to the side, in overall better than very fine condition.
