Germany, Third Reich. A Reichsnährstand Honour Badge, Silver Grade, with Case

(Reichsnährstand Silbernes Ehrenzeichen mit Etui). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a disc bearing a raised sunwheel-style swastika, overlaid by a wheat stalk and sword, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, bearing an inscription of “EIGENTUM DES REICHSNÄHRSTANDES (RBR)” (“PROPERTY OF THE REICHSNÄHRSTAND (RBR)”), measuring 41.33 mm in diameter, weighing 9.6 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux blue leather exterior liner, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted dark blue velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), demonstrating minor loss of finish to the award, a scarce decoration in overall near extremely fine condition.
