1. A 1944 Gau Champion’s Badge for Pistol Shooting, constructed of gilded feinzink, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, around a central raised Tyrolean eagle clutching a bullseye target overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by a date of “1944”, above an inscription of “PISTOLE”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 51 mm in diameter, with minor loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A 1943 Gau Achievement Badge for Rifle Shooting, constructed of bronze with enamels, the obverse bearing a central raised Tyrolean eagle clutching a bullseye target overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by a date of “1943”, above an inscription of “WEHRMANN”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked “C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
