Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Miniature Decorations

 (Miniaturen). A pair of miniature decorations, including:

1. An SS Long Service Award, III Class for 8 Years, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised swastika with ribbed arms, overlaid by central dual Sig runes, situated within a circular laurel leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised number “8”, overlaid by an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS”), unmarked, measuring 15.54 mm in diameter, weighing 2.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.

2. An NSDAP supporting member’s pendant, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 16.26 mm in diameter, weighing 2.5 grams, demonstrating minor flecking and loss of finish to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in near extremely fine condition.
