Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Visor Cap Insingia

(Mützenabzeichen). A mixed lot of visor cap insignia, including:

1. A Heer EM/NCO’s wreath and cockade, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), missing its red wool centrepiece, in very fine condition.

2. A Heer Officer’s wreath and cockade, constructed of a dark gree wool base, the obverse bearing a central zink tri-colour cockade, situated within a hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), demonstrating moderate oxidation to the wire, in very fine condition.

3. A matching set of Kyffhäuserbund insignia, including an eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 65 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a wreathed, constructed of aluminum with multi-coloured paint, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 60 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
