Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of uniform insignia, including:

1 A matching set of Luftwaffe Flight Personnel/Fallschirmjäger Hauptmann collar tabs, each constructed of golden-yellow wool, trimmed with twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, and bearing three silver aluminum wire gulls above a cluster of oak leaves, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), demonstrating moderate soiling throughout, in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition.

2. A National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) cap eagle, constructed of black and green rayon with silver aluminum wire embroidery, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. An NSKK Driver’s sleeve insignia, second pattern, constructed of padded black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire wheel defaced by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
