Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of uniform insignia, including:

1 A Wehrmacht Georgian Legion sleeve insignia, constructed of white cotton/rayon blended cloth, the obverse bearing a printed and multi-coloured unit emblem, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 76 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

2. A Wehrmacht Azerbaijani Legion sleeve insignia, constructed of red cotton/rayon blended cloth, the obverse bearing a printed and multi-coloured unit emblem, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 78 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Luftwaffe Construction Unit insignia, constructed of black cotton, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, topped by an inscription of “L. BAU”, and situated within a triangular border, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. A Reichsbahn Direktion Saarbrücken sleeve insignia, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above an inscription of “RBD Saarbrücken”, measuring 90 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
