Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Three Badges and Insignia

A mixed lot of three Third Reich German badges and insignia, consisting of:

1. A Bronze Grade SA Sport Badge, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak wreath, overlaid by a sword on-top of a mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge, vertical pinback, and flat rightward-opening catch, maker marked “W. Redo, Saarlautern” on the reverse, measuring 46.9 mm (w) x 59.2 mm (l), weighing 17.70 grams.

2. A “De-Nazified” Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath tied together at the base with a Stahlhelm and crossed swords in the center (the swastika has been filed off with remnants visible), the reverse with an integral hinge, vertical round wire pinback, and crimed rightward-opening catch, unmarked, measuring 35.8 mm (w) x 43.5 mm (l), weighing 22.58 grams.

3. A Pair of Wehrmacht Heer Panzer Collar Skulls, sewn-on type, constructed of silvered magnetic metal, consisting of a skull with crossbones at the base, unmarked, measuring 23.1 mm (w) x 21.2 mm (l).
