An extensive mixed lot of private photos and letters from the estate of Reichsminister Hans Frank, the former consisting of 15 unpublished images depicted Frank with relatives and comrades in uniform during the First World War, supplemented by several family photos, the latter consisting of 38 handwritten and typewritten letters from both prewar and wartime periods, primarily featuring correspondence between Frank and his wife Brigitte, supplemented by unused bookplates from Frank’s personal library, demonstrating minor and age-appropriate material fatigue throughout, an interesting primary account of the domestic life of Frank with a focus on a marriage fraught with infidelity (owing to Frank’s long-time affair with Lilli Groh) in near extremely fine condition.
