1. An Anschluss Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.25 mm in diameter, weighing 14.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
2. A Sudetenland Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with Prague Castle Bar, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.21 mm in diameter, weighing 17.2 grams (inlusive of ribbon and bar), in extremely fine condition.
3. A West Wall Medal, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from a replacement ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised pillbox topped by a crossed sword and shovel and a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 32.27 mm (w) x 45.58 mm (h), weighing 15.0 grams, with loss of bronze finish and some oxidation evident throughout, in very fine condition.
4. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) Long Service Decoration, IV Class for 4 Years, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised RAD insignia, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 32.67 mm (w) x 44.70 mm (h), weighing 9.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
5. An Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), above a crossed sword and laurel branch, topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, the suspension loop maker marked with LDO code “L15” for Otto Schickle, Pforzheim, measuring 35.77 mm (w) x 44.10 mm (h), weighing 19.8 grams, with evidence of re-finishing throughout, in very fine condition.
6. A Spanish Volunteer (Blue Division) Medal, constructed of gilded zink, on loop for suspension from an incorrect Air Defence Honour Medal ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised sword overlaid by shields bearing Heer and Falange insignia, topped by a Stahlhelm, above a swastika flanked by clutches of laurel leaves, the reverse bearing an inscription of “DIVISIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN RUSIA” (“DIVISION OF SPANISH VOLUNTEERS IN RUSSIA”), above an Iron Cross topped by laurel and oak leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 32.46 mm in diameter, weighing 12.0 grams, with loss of finish and oxidation evident throughout, in very fine condition.
