Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:

1 An NSDAP membership badge, constructed of silvered bronzer with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 23 mm in diameter, demonstrating total loss of silver finish to the base metal and some flecking to the enamels, in very fine condition.

2. A Heer EM/NCO’s visor cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining one intact attachment prong, maker marked with the logo of Gustav Hermann Osang, measuring 65 mm (w) x 15 mm (h), demonstrating some chipping to the edges and the loss of two attachment prongs, in very fine condition.

3. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie-style ribbon with horizontal pinback indicating female issue, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 42.41 mm (w) x 46.93 mm (h), weighing 24.2 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.

4. A First World War patriotic button, constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing a raised crown and with a miniature 1914 Iron Cross descending from the lower edge, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 25 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
