Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Insignia for Military and Political Personnel

(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:

1. A Heer Officer’s crusher cap cockade and wreath, constructed of a dark green rayon base with silver aluminum wire machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue and the remnants of an adhesive to the reverse consistent with postwar display, in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition.

2. A Heer Gebirgsjäger sleeve insignia for Enlisted ranks, constructed of field-grey wool with multi-coloured machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Luftwaffe M43 cap eagle for Enlisted ranks, constructed of dark grey wool with silver-grey machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.

4. A Luftwaffe Obergefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

5. A Kriegsmarine breast eagle for Enlisted ranks, constructed of dark blue wool with golden-yellow machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

6. An NSDAP/SA visor cap eagle, constructed of gilded aluminum, the reverse retaining two of three prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/105” for Hermann Aurich, Dresden, measuring 65 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

7. A 1935 SA Wilhelmshaven meeting badge, constructed of card stock, on loop for suspension with a custom clasp, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
