Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Decorations and Insignia

(Auszeichnungen und Insignien). A mixed lot of decorations and insignia, including:

1. An Imperial Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.04 mm (w) x 43.16 mm (h), weighing 11.6 grams, a Third Reich-period example produced c. 1935, in extremely fine condition.

2. A DRL Sports Badge, Gold Grade, cloth version, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow depiction of the award, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

3. A ribbon bar featuring two decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class and an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatans, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm in length, in very fine condition.

4. A ribbon bar featuring an SS Long Service Award, III Class for 8 Years, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 25 mm in length, in very fine condition.

5. An Ordnungspolizei cap insignia, constructed of aluminum, unmarked, measuring 53 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), the attachment prongs are missing and have been substituted with a horizontal pinback soldered to the reverse, in very fine condition.
