Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Cloth Insignia for Military and Police Personnel

(Insignien - Stoffausführung). A mixed lot of cloth insignia, including:

1. A Heer tropical EM/NCO’s cap eagle, constructed of brown rayon, the obverse bearing an additional layer of golden-brown rayon overlaid by a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), demonstrating two perforations consisting with postwar display, in unissued and extremely fine condition.

2. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Luftwaffe Flak Crew sleeve badge, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Flak 88, surrounded by wings and an oak wreath with a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 100 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), demonstrating minor soiling and fatigue, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

4. A Schutzpolizei sleeve eagle, constructed of police-green wool twill, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered green Ordnungspolizei insignia, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), a late-war example in extremely fine condition.
