Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Cap Insignia for Military and Government Personnel

(Mützenabzeichen). A mixed lot of cap insignia, including:

1. A two-piece Heer wreath and cockade for Enlisted ranks, both constructed of aluminum and retaining all attachment prongs, the cockade bearing a manufacture date of “39”, measuring 68 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near mint condition.

2. A Heer Jäger insignia, constructed of aluminum, retaining all attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 50 mm (l), in near mint condition.

3. A Reichsbahn/Reichspost official’s eagle, constructed of gilded aluminum, retaining all attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, measuring 60 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), demonstrating some deterioration to the edges, in very fine condition.

4. A Bahnschutz official’s eagle, constructed of silvered feinzink, retaining all attachment prongs, the reverse marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/24” for Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 55 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
