1. An Infantry Assault Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Metall und Kunststoff, Gablonz, measuring 48.24 mm (w) x 62.20 mm (h), weighing 27.6 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of bronze finish to the base metal with moderate oxidation throughout, in addition to replacement of the hinge, in fair condition.
2. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.97 mm (w) x 54.17 mm (h), weighing 27.3 grams, the demonstrating total loss of finish and extensive oxidation to the base metal, in poor condition.
3. A Sturmabteilung (SA) Sports Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central mobile swastika overlaid by a sword, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “W. REDO, SAARLAUTERN” for the firm of Werner Redo, measuring 46.43 mm (w) x 58.36 mm (h), weighing 17.5 grams, demonstrating moderate surface oxidation throughout the base metal, a Type III badge in very fine condition.
