Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of badges, including: 

1. A Sturmabteilung (SA) Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central mobile swastika overlaid by a sword, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “FECHLER BERNSBACH/SA”, measuring 47.37 mm (w) x 58.64 mm (h), weighing 18.4 grams,missing its catch and demonstrating some surface oxidation, a Type III badge in fair condition.

2. A Reich Labour Service of Female Youth (RADwJ) commemorative service badge, constructed of silvered zink, horizontal pinback, maker marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 44 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), in very fine condition.

3. A 1935 Nuremberg Rally commemorative badge, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

4. A 1922 German Gymnastics Association event badge, constructed of bronze, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), missing its pinback, in very fine condition.
