Description

(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:

1. A matching set of Heer Panzer Troops collar tab cyphers, each constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse of jawless Danziger-style Totenkopfs, the reverse of both absent prongs for sew-on attachment, both unmarked and measuring 24 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

2. An HJ Marksmanship Badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/120” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 20 mm in diameter, demonstrating moderate flecking and loss of finish to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in very fine condition.

3. A Volunteer Labour Service membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 23 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
