Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges and Insignia

(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of badges and insignia, including:

1. A Reichsnährstand (RNST) Landesbauernschaft (State Agricultural Association) Kurhessen 40-Year Faithful Service Badge, constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing a raised RNST insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSNÄHRSTAND LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT KURHESSEN”, the reverse bearing a wreathed number “40”, with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 33 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Heer pith helmet badge, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of  a black shield bearing a raised and silvered Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining all three attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. An Ordnungspolizei cap badge, second pattern, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining one of two attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 54 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

4. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) cap badge, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining one of two attachment prongs, marked with a Reichsleitung des Reichsarbeitsdienstes (RLAD) logo, measuring 45 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating loss loss of paint and prong repair, in very fine condition.
