Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Two Reichsnährstand Long Service Decorations

A lot of two Reichsnährstand “Blut und Boden” (Blood and Soil) long faithful service decorations, consisting of:

1. A Reichsnährstand 40-Year Faithful Service Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a raised Reichsnährstand-style national eagle above the inscription of “ 40 Reichsnährstand”, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge, pointed vertical pinback, and rightward-opening round wire catch on a plateau, marked “1818” on the reverse, measuring 34.4 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (l).

2. A Reichsnährstand 10-Year Faithful Service award, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a raised Reichsnährstand-style national eagle, the reverse inscribed “Fuer 10 Jahre Treue Dienste - Reichsnährstand Landesbauernschaft Bayern” in capitalized lettering, unmarked, on a loop for suspension from its correct modern replacement ribbon, measuring 31.8 mm (w) x 45.0 mm (l).

Both awards are constructed of zinc and displaying loss to the silver finish that is typical to decorations crafted from this material, in better than fine condition.
