(Verleihungsurkunden). A lot of civil and military award and promotion documents to a single recipient, including:
1. A promotion document, named to “FRIEDRICH THREIN”, elevating Threin from Betribswartanwärter to Reichsbahnbetriebswart in recognition of excellent and meritorious job performance, issued in Mainz on 16 August 1941, certified by the handwritten signature of an official acting on behalf of the President of the Reichsbahndirektion (National Railway Administration), measuring 25.5 cm (w) x 35.5 cm (h), demonstrating some discolouration, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A second promotion document, elevating Threin from Reichsbahnassistenten to Reichsbahnsekretär, issued in Mainz on 1 November 1943, certified by the handwritten signature of an official acting on behalf of the President of the Reichsbahndirektion (National Railway Administration), measuring 25.5 cm (w) x 35.5 cm (h), demonstrating some discolouration, in near extremely fine condition.
3. An award document for a War Merit Cross II Class, named to Threin as Reichsbahn Betriebswart in Bobruisk (now Babruysk, Belarus), issued in Berlin on 30 January 1943 and certified by the facsimile signatures of the Führer and Otto Meissner, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
4. An award document for a Black Grade Wound Badge, named to Threin as a Reichsbahnsekretär serving with railway administration in Mascheiken (now Mažeikiai, Lithuania), issued on 8 September 1944 for a single wound suffered on 20 August 1944, certified by the handwritten signature of the Chefarzt of Reservelazarett Goslar, measuring 14 cm (w) x 20 cm (h), an interesting example documenting battlefield wounds to a civilian employee in wartime service, in extremely fine condition.
