In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

A group of four third reich German medals, awards, and decorations, consisting of:
1. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of black painted magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon, the obverse with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika on-top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a tall pinion hinge, a vertical pinback, and a stamped catch, unmarked, measuring 36.0 mm (w) x 43.6 mm (l), weighing 65.4 grams, with much of its original black finish remaining, in near very fine condition.
2. A Parade-Mounted Anschluss Commemorative Medal, constructed of bronze, on a loop for suspension from its medal mount, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “1. Oktober 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer” (“One People, One Nation, One Leader”), unmarked, measuring 32.1 mm in diameter, mounted “parade style” on a zink mount with a horizontal pinback that is missing the catch, worn and soiled example, in fine condition.
3. A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on a double loop for suspension from its period original replacement ribbon, the obverse of the circular medal depicting a frontal silhouette of a War Merit Cross, the reverse inscribed “Für Kriegsverdienst 1939” (For Wartime Merit 1939), measuring 32.1 mm in diameter, weighing 12.60 grams, in very fine condition.
4. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.3 mm (w) x 53.0 mm (h), weighing 17.15 grams, with the majority of the silver finish missing on the obverse but well preserved on the reverse, in better than fine condition.
