1937 Issue. Rectangular backpack structured internally with wood, olive green canvas back and interior with brown leather fittings and metal buckles, front and sides constructed of brown cowhide (fur striped from left side panel) with two brown leather loops secured with brown thread stitching and on the left a D-ring attached with a brown leather loop and brown thread stitching, front bears four leather loops attached by brown thread stitching, measuring 57.15 mm, and two brown leather straps with eight buckling holes on the left strap and seven buckling holes on the right, a brown leather panel is across the top with a metal rectangular ring attached by brown thread stitching and six metal fasteners, centre stitched into a “V” shape with maker stamped in centre with inscription “JUST & CO A.G. 1937 Geraberg”, miscellaneous writing on leather “TISHER”, “ADERHOLD”, “Reinhild”, “Aderhold”, “Gefr. Straub” carved on centre right, two slots for insertion of straps fastened with metal fastener, brown leather straps with three top buckling holes (to be fastened to pack), six buckling holes labeled “6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1” between each hole with metal buckle with hook, bottom half of straps attached to main leather strap with a single metal fastener and has five buckling holes, metal buckle and triangle loop to attach strap to lower part of pack, green canvas back with “WT” written twice on left side, leather lower with “WT” written on the right side, bottom bears two metal hooks to fasten straps and two metal buckles with loop on the left and right side, inside of flap constructed of olive green canvas and brown leather fittings, A-style pocket flap opening with two brown leather loops inside attached by brown thread stitching, a brown leather buckling strap with six buckling holes is attached by brown thread stitching to the outer left pocket flap with stitching reinforced hole for strap to go through on the left and right pocket flaps, brown leather loop on bottom of pocket for strap to go through and metal buckle attached with leather and thread to secure strap, two brown leather loops to either side of buckle attached with brown thread, top of pocket has tag with “Arbeitsmann Bahlbrech Wolf 6/321” (The workman Bahlbrech Wolf 6/321), the main body is constructed of green canvas double flaps with two metal buckles secured with brown leather and brown thread stitching and two brown leather buckling straps with four buckling holes, two brown leather loops at the top and one centred brown leather loop, measuring 330.2 mm (w) x 381 mm (h) x 63.5 (d), straps 571.5 mm (in current position), fine.
