(HIAG Suchdienst Papier). A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for Erich Wüst, who was born on 26 September 1924 in Notzendorf and who served with the 8th SS Cavalry Division (“Florian Geyer”). A paper label states that he is confirmed as having been registered in Moscow as a prisoner of war (POW) and transferred to Camp 69 on 19 June 1947, and appeals to returning POWs for information on his status. The file retains a black-and-white studio portrait of Wüst wearing a Waffen-SS Enlisted ranks uniform. Measuring 21 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), it remains in an extremely fine condition.
