It consists of: a DRL Sports Badge in Bronze certificate to female gymnast (142x220mm, extremely fine); an NS-Reichskriegerbund (NS National Warrior League) information booklet (90x128mm, better than very fine); two disability insurance cards (149x209, better than very fine); an NS-Volkswohlfahrt (NS People’s Welfare) ID card (149x105mm, near extremely fine); a DAF (German Labour Front) replacement ID card (124x95mm, extremely fine); a post war Allied travel permission (104x148mm, near very fine).
The DRL Sports Badge in Bronze certificate is named to Gertrud Köstle, born March 22, 1908. It is dated to February 28, 1934. The NS-Reichskriegerbund booklet contains general information about the structure and goals of the league. One of the disability insurance cards is named to Alexej Karpenko, born on February 11, 1903 in Henichesk (present-day Ukraine). He worked as a labourer for a building company. The document is dated to June 10, 1944. The other card’s owner’s name is illegible. They were born on March 14, 1907 in Nieukerk (western Germany). The card was first issued on January 13, 1942. It is dated to February 1, 1945.
The NS-Volkswohlfahrt ID card is named to Rudolf Heydner, born August 25, 1887, a salesman from Vienna. He joined on January 1, 1941. The DAF replacement ID card is named to Fritz Elsässer. It is dated to Bad Cannstatt (near Stuttgart) on October 17, 1939. The Allied travel permission document is in four languages, German, English, French, and Russian. It is named to Berta Krall from Austria, born February 15, 1889. She is eligible to travel from Vienna to Bad Hall and back (ca. 200 kms one way). Originally the permission was issued on June 15, 1946 and was valid for one month, but it was extended from July 25 to August 15. The card was issued by the British Military Government Vienna III.
