(Organisation Todt Dienstbuch). An Organisation Todt (OT) Dienstbuch (Service Book), constructed 40 paginated paper stock pages featuring handwritten entries, named to “ARTHUR KRAUSE”, missing its binding and the bearer’s photo formerly pasted to the opening page, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in fair condition.

Footnote: Arthur Krause was born on 15 November 1909 in Lorenzkirch (Oschatz district, Saxony). Beginning on 4 July 1940, he served with an OT unit in occupied France through the autumn of 1940, where he is listed as having been under artillery fire on 16 October. He was later deployed to the Eastern Front, where he was involved in construction work in the Ukrainian SSR and Crimea through the summer of 1942. His unit was later embedded with Army Group Don and Army Group South, where he continued to labour in the Don region. His last confirmed service entry was on 28 February 1943, and a final stamp confirms that he exited OT service on 23 June 1943.
