In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Ordnungspolizei Pelzmütze für Mannschaften). An exceptionally well-preserved Ordnungpolizei winter field cap, constructed of padded police-green wool. Grey rayon-blended side walls are stitched in place around the outer circumference, reinforced on the reverse with machine-stitched darts, and are lined on the exterior with thick rabbit fur. Emanating from the walls are ear flaps which, when not in use, roll up and are secured in place at the crown with two drawstrings. Pinned onto the peak is an aluminum Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath bearing a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 55 mm (w) x 45 mm (h). The interior is fully lined with a multi-piece grey cotton/rayon blended liner with heavy machine-stitched reinforcements. The crown is stamped with a size mark of “58”, circumscribed by a Reichsbetriebsnummer of “0/1200/0747” for a documented but unidentified producer of winter headgear, and a manufacture date of “1944”. Demonstrating no evident damage or wear, this unissued and late-war example remains in a near mint condition.
