Germany, NSKK. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia

(Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Insignien). A mixed lot of National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) insignia, including:

1. A set of shoulder boards for ranks Sturmmann-Obertruppführer, each constructed of black wool with rigid card stock cores and topped by four bands of black threaded and silver aluminum wire piping, the reverse of each retaining an intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label, one bearing a maker code of “A4/23” for Walter Hess, Annaberg, and the other “A4/86” for an unidentified manufacturer, both measuring 24 mm (w) x 125 mm (l), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.

2. A sleeve eagle, constructed of brown rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire NSKK insignia, the reverse retaining an intact RZM label bearing a maker code of “A4/134” for Ewald Vortseher, Wuppertal, measuring 90 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.

3. An SS former NSKK member sleeve diamond, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire wheel defaced by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
