Germany, NSKK. A Mixed Lot of Insignia

(Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Insignien). A mixed lot of National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) insignia, including:

1. An Old Fighters Chevron, second pattern, constructed of an olive-drab wool base, topped on the obverse by a layer of olive-drab cotton/rayon cloth, bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire NSKK insignia in the form of a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika and topped by a banner, situated above a silver aluminum wire chevron overlaid by olive-drab threaded bars, the reverse retaining a fully-intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker code of “A4/374”, measuring 95 mm (w) x 92 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A driver’s sleeve diamond, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire wheel overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. An identification tag, constructed of zink, perforated with three holes for suspension, bearing a double-stamped inscription of “NSKK 1 BRIG L” and number “6390”, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
