Germany, NSDAP. An Ortsgruppenleiter Armband

(NSDAP Armbinde für einen Ortsgruppenleiter). Constructed of a red wool cloth base, trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with blue rayon and and gold bullion wire piping, overlaid by a central red rayon tresses bearing machine-embroidered gold bullion wire oak leaves, in turn trimmed by tresses of identical wire construction, overlaid by a white rayon disc bearing a multi-piece black rayon mobile swastika, with the edges of both the disc and swastika trimmed with gold bullion wire piping and the centre of the latter pinned with a gilded pip, unmarked, measuring 20 cm (l) x 12.5 cm (w), demonstrating minor mothing and material fatigue throughout the base cloth, a high-ranking Orts-level example in very fine condition.
