Germany, NSDAP. A Rare Standard of the Führer and Reichskanzler, Veteran-Retrieved Panel

A rare panel cut off from a small standard flag of the Führer and Reichskanzler, constructed of a weather-hardened red rayon blended base with a canvas underlay, the obverse bearing a central white rayon disc, in turn overlaid by a black swastika with its arms trimmed with silver aluminum wire tresses, situated within a circular oak leaf wreath executed in golden-yellow and golden-brown embroidery, surrounded by a black embroidered and silver aluminum wire frame with gold bullion wire government- and NSDAP-style German national eagles alternating at each corner, unmarked, measuring 30 cm (w) x 30 cm (l), demonstrating minor material fatigue consistent with extraction from a double-sided small version of the Führer’s personal standard, a high-quality example retrieved by an Allied serviceman and ideal for collector display, in extremely fine condition.
