A grouping of documents, medals, and cloth insignia belonging to Flieger-Stabsingenieur Johannes Heinzel, including a pair of collar tabs, each of bright pink wool construction, with a single two-bladed propeller surrounded by oak leaf wreaths, in silver-aluminum wire, piped in fine, bright silver-aluminum cord, each measuring 42 mm (w) x 59 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, accompanied by a pair of matching shoulder boards, with pink wool underlay, bearing double strands of silver-aluminum Russian braiding, each measuring 34 mm (w) x 111 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
A medal bar featuring three decorations, including a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern), a Maltese cross in bronzed zink, the obverse with crossed swords between the arms of the cross and a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center, the reverse presents a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date 1939 in raised numbering, measuring 48 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords (Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918), a straight armed cross pattée in bronzed iron, with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, marked on reverse with 0.5, measuring 37 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in extremely fine condition. A Silesian Eagle Badge, II Class (Schlesischer Adler), a blackened bronze upright, right-facing eagle with a bronze flat crescent and cross across the chest, clutching a bronze banner with the inscription FÜR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA), the reverse plain, unmarked, measures 31 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition. All mounted to a medal bar with suspension with swing bar pinback, backed with grey wool, maker marked ORDEN WERNER SEDLATZEK, measuring 97 mm in length, and in extremely fine condition, accompanied by the original presentation case for maker Orden Werner Sedletzek, in red cardstock, measuring 16.6 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (h), and in good condition. Accompanied by two matching ribbon bars, each measuring approximately 43 mm in length. A pair of First Class Silesian Eagles, both constructed of blackened and silvered metals, one with black enamels still intact and maker marked MAX REICH, BRESLAU, both with vertical pinbacks, measuring 31 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), and in very fine condition.

An award document for the Silesian Eagle, I and II Classes, to Johannes Heinzel, dated 10 December 1919, signed in black ink by the Oberleutnant and Bataillonsführer, measuring 19.1 cm (w) x 25 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin and two folding creases, and in near very fine condition. An award document for the Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, to Johannes Heinzel, dated 15 March 1935, signed in black ink by the Amtshauptmann, measuring 25 cm (w) x 14.7 cm (h), presenting two punched holes along the left margin and two folding creases, and in good condition. An award document promoting Johannes Heinzel to Flieger-Hauptingenieur, dated 23 March 1942, bearing a facsimile signature of Erhard Milch (1892-1972), measuring 25.5 cm (w) x 35.5 cm (h), presenting a folding crease and scuffing, and in near very fine condition. An award document promoting Johannes Heinzel to Flieger-Stabsingenieur, dated 26 February 1944, bearing a facsimile signature of AH, measuring 25.5 cm (w) x 35.4 cm (h), presenting mild scuffing, and in very fine condition.
