(Luftwaffe Fliegerschützenabzeichen). Constructed with a silver aluminum wreath and a patinated zink eagle, the wreath consisting of laurel leaves on the left side of the wreath, and oak leaves on the right side of the wreath, with a mobile swastika on the bottom of the wreath, and an eagle superimposed onto the badge holding lightning bolts in its talons, the reverse plain, with a vertical needle style pinback, an integrated cast barrel hinge, and a crimped round wire catch, marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann on the reverse, measuring 42.90 mm (w) x 53.93mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, one of the pins on the reverse broken off of the eagle, in good condition.
