Constructed of a silver alloy, the exterior featuring a raised depiction of a Fallschirmjäger badge in the form of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the band bearing a partially-legible stamped mark of “RZ” (possibly an emulation of a Reichszeugmeisterei/RZM logo, indicating unofficial or post-war manufacture), corresponding to a men's size 8, weighing 4.3 grams, demonstrating pitting and softening of features consistent with age and wear, an interesting commemorative service ring in very fine condition.
