Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Private Wartime Photo Album to a Decorated Korvettenkapitän

An interesting private wartime photo album, constructed of a card stock binding with a faux dark blue leather liner, the cover bearing a gilt Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the spine perforated with four eyelets reinforced with magnetic metal grommets through which is looped a drawstring which maintains the album’s structural integrity, the interior content consisting of 18 black card stock pages, pasted with ten images, depicting the owner in the uniform of a Korvettenkapitän, wearing awards including a 1939 Iron Cross I Class, Blockade Runner Badge, and Spain Cross of indeterminate grade, with other images of this individual in his office and at dinner with other Officers wearing white service tunics and seated beneath a portrait of Karl Dönitz, accompanied by a loose large group photo showing an assembly of Kriegsmarine Officers and Enlisted personnel, the album measuring 27 cm (w) x 19 cm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
