Germany, Imperial; Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges for Military, Police, and Civil Personnel

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of badges, including:

1. A Prussian State Railway 25-Year Long Service Award, constructed of silvered the obverse consisting of a winged and crowned wheel, situated above a plaque bearing a number “25” and within a circular laurel wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “JOH. WAGNER & SOHN, BERLIN W.”, with a crown and crescent indicating German manufacture, and a silver content mark of “800”, measuring 52 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), weighing 10.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Bavarian Prince Alfons Commemorative Badge, constructed of silvered bronze with a period original wrap-around ribbon, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “M. HEINLOTH”, measuring 45 mm (w) x40 mm (h), in extremely fine condition. 

3. An Imperial Silver Grade Wound badge, constructed of silvered magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.

4. An Ordnungspolizei cap insignia, second pattern, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
