A Bavarian Military Merit Cross, III Class with Crown and Swords, constructed of coppered bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central monogram of King Ludwig II, situated within a belt and buckle bearing an inscription of “MERENTI” (“MERIT”) with arabesques, the twelve o’clock arm topped by a sword clasp, the reverse bearing a central Bavarian lion rampant, situated within a belt and buckle bearing an institution date of “1866”, the twelve o’clock arm topped by a crown and loop with a period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 42.83 mm (w) x 66.78 mm (h), weighing 22.6 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux blue leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered inscription of “BAYR. M. V. KR. 3. KL. M. D. KR.”, the interior with blue imitation silk lid liner bearing a gilt maker’s mark of “JACOB LESER, STRAUBING”, with a band to accommodate the ribbon, with a fitted blue doeskin medal bed, closing with a functional metal snap button, measuring 60 mm (w) x 85 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish and material fatigue throughout the decoration and case, respectively, in very fine condition.

A Bavarian Regimental Commemorative Cross, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a single mount and pinned with a regimental clasp, unmarked, measuring 36/26 mm (w) x 41.88 mm (h), weighing 11.9 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, of two-piece card stock construction, the interior stamped with a maker’s mark of “EDUARD SCHERM, NÜRNBERG”, measuring 50 mm (w) x 80 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
3. An Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Medal of Merit, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 37.72 mm in diameter, weighing 24.9 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux dark blue leather liner, the lid bearing a silvered Federal Republic-style German national eagle, the interior with a white rayon lid liner, with a fitted blue felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, the base maker marked “STEINHAUER & LÜCK, LÜDENSCHEID”, measuring 55 mm (w) x 110 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), demonstrating some material fatigue to the case, in extremely fine condition.
