Central Powers Patriotic Badge: two-piece construction, in silver with red, white, green, yellow and black enamels, museum marked "60" on the reverse, illustrating a shield bearing four flags, clockwise from the upper left: the Austrian Empire, Imperial Germany, the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary, the shield mounted to a base with the two-headed Austrian eagle surmounted by the royal crown, measuring 23.3 mm (w) x 27.2 mm (h), horizontal pinback. 2. Central Powers "United Forces" Patriotic Badge: in silver with red, white, green, yellow and black enamels, marked "GESETZ. GESCHÜTZT" (Gesetzlich Geschützt = Protected by Law) and museum marked "50" on the reverse, illustrating a First War Iron Cross in the centre, flanked by the flags of Imperial Germany at the left and the Flag of the Kingdom of Hungary at the right, a Crescent moon with star beside a sword representing the Ottoman Empire below, inscribed "VIRIBUS UNITIS" (United Forces) above, measuring 27.3 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), horizontal pinback. 3.
