Description

(Reichskriegsflagge). A small Reichskriegsflagge (Imperial War Flag), constructed of a white cotton twill base, bearing a double-sided printed design consisting of a black Nordic Cross trimmed with black borders, overlaid by a central Prussian imperial eagle, and with an Imperial black, white, and red tri-colour flag set into the upper hoist edge, in turn defaced by a black Iron Cross, the hoist edge reinforced with an additional layer of white cotton twill featuring a hollow channel retaining an original rope for pole suspension, unmarked, measuring 102 cm (w) x 65 cm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
