1. A Saxon Nursing Cross (Memorial Cross for 1870/1871), constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Johann, surrounded by a blue enameled ring, the reverse bearing central raised dates “1870-1871”, unmarked, measuring 26.98 mm (w) x 31.88 mm (h), weighing 14.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
2. A Württemberg Military Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a single bar with a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR TAPFERKEIT UND TREUE” (“FOR BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”), unmarked, measuring 28.46 mm in diameter, weighing 12.1 grams, the bar demonstrates evidence of post-war assembly, in better than very fine condition.
3. A Prussian Long Service Clasp, II Class, constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a plaque bearing a raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, affixed to a bronze backplate with a horizontal pinback and original ribbon, bearing a partially-legible maker’s mark, measuring 43.02 mm (w) x 30.70 mm (h), weighing 13.1 grams, demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, in very fine condition.
4. An Anhalt Alexander Carl Commemorative Medal for 1848/1849, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a central raised shield featuring a crowned bear walking on top of a wall with an arched gateway, topped by a crown and set over crossed swords, circumscribed by a laurel and oak leaf wreath with an inscription of “FÜRCHTE GOTT AND BEFOLGE SEINE BEFEHLE” (“FEAR GOD AND OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS”), the reverse bearing a central inscription of “ALEXANDER CARL”, situated within dates “1848-1849”, circumscribed by inscriptions of “SEINEN BRAVEN KRIEGERN” (“HIS BRAVE WARRIORS”) and “FÜR UNERSCHÜTTERLICHE TREUE” (“FOR UNWAVERING LOYALTY”), the obverse engraver marked “G. LOOS”, measuring 29.83 mm in diameter, weighing 14.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
5. A Saxe-Weimar and Eisenach Medal for Faithful War Service, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised monogram of Grand Duke Carl August, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “TREUEN KRIEGERN” (“FAITHFUL WARRIORS”), unmarked, measuring 28.54 mm in diameter, weighing 8.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
