A medal bar featuring three decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a restitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, the suspension loop maker marked “KO” for a widely-encountered but unidentified manufacturer, measuring 42.62 mm (w) x 47.38 mm (h), weighing 18.7 grams, in extremely fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of L. Christian Lauer, Nuremberg, measuring 37.63 mm (w) x 41.82 mm (h), weighing 14.5 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Kyffhäuser Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse engraver marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 31.02 mm (w) x 46.98 mm (h), weighing 18.6 grams, demonstrating minor tarnishing and with a replacement suspension loop, in very fine condition; all suspended from a 100 mm-long zink bar with a horizontal pinback and black wool reverse liner, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.21 mm in diameter, weighing 12.6 grams, in near mint condition.
3. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.75 mm (w) x 44.20 mm (h), weighing 12.6 grams, in better than very fine condition.
4. A lot of three ribbon bars for First World War service, all featuring the Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 indicating assembly in 1934 or later, in overall very fine condition.
