(Postkarten). A group of four Imperial German postcards.
1. A “Kriegs Karte” (“War Card”) featuring a black-and-white photograph of Generalfeldmarschall von Mackensen, by photographer Albert Gottheil of Danzig, unused, measures 9.2 cm (w) x 14.15 cm (h), and in near mint condition.
2. A postcard featuring a portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II and a segment from his speech to the throne: “Ich kenne keine Parteien mehr, ich kenne nur noch Deutsche!” (“I do not know any parties anymore, I only know Germans!”, reverse presents handwriting in pencil, a black ink stamp, measures 9.4 cm (w) x 14 cm (h), and in extremely fine condition.
3. A Verband Hindenburg postcard, by Arthur Kurth of Seelze, unused, measures 9.15 cm (w) x 13.8 cm (h), and in very fine condition.
