1. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension form its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of G.H. Osang, Dresden, measuring 37.50 mm (w) 42.43 mm (h), weighing 16.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
2. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for War Bereaved, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, on loop for suspension form a replacement combatant’s original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 37.40 mm (w) 41.83 mm (h), weighing 12.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath with scalloped edges, the obverse with a raised Stahlhelm overlaying crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.30 mm (w) x 43.07 mm (h), weighing 10.4 grams, accompanied by its original award document, named to “OTTO SCHMIDT”, dated 14 August 1918, certified by the handwritten signature of an unidentified Oberstleutnant, measuring 16 cm (w) x 20.5 cm (h), demonstrating some creasing, fatigue, and damp staining to the document, in overall better than very fine condition.
4. A Cross for Voluntary War Aid, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 41.13 mm (w) x 41.18 mm (h), weighing 20.6 grams, accompanied by its original award document, named to (Waffenmeister) “WILHELM KROCK”, dated 22 March 1917, the reverse bearing inscriptions and stamps indicating physical issues on 25 May 1918 in Spandau, measuring 26.5 cm (w) x 21 cm (h).demonstrating some creasing to the document, in overall near extremely fine condition.
