Description

(HJ-Gefolgschaftsfahne). A large HJ Gefolgschaftsfahne (Company Flag), of multi-piece construction, consisting of a central white cotton panel situated within additional panels of red cotton, bearing double-sided white cotton diamonds overlaid by multi-piece black mobile swastikas, the upper corner of each hoist edge bearing a rectangular patch situated within a black threaded border, bearing machine-embroidered numerals “26/30” for Gefolgschaft 21, Bann 30 (Saar-West), the hoist edge reinforced with an additional layer of red cotton and retaining six aluminum suspension rings, each marked on the interior with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M3/40/37” for Gebrüder Cossack, Neheim, otherwise unmarked, measuring 112 cm (w) x 168 cm (l), demonstrating soiling and material fatigue throughout, the latter resulting in the loss of one suspension ring and with some stitched repairs visible, in overall very fine condition.
