The Second War Wehrpaß is dated to Oberhausen on August 25, 1937.

Measuring 107 mm (w) x 147 mm (h), presenting light creasing of the cover, and the spine starting to come apart, the body of the book being undamaged, remains very fine.

The First War Soldbuch is dated to December 17, 1914.

Measuring 88 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), presenting scuffing and creasing of the cover, period spine repair, body of the booklet undamaged, remains better than fine.

The Iron Cross 1st Class certificate is a preliminary certificate, named to medical NCO (San.-Unteroffizier) of the Reserve Hugo Otto Ludwig Adrian of the 9th Company of Reserve Infantry Regiment No. 15. It is dated “in the field” to September 14, 1918.

Measuring 202 mm (w) x 155 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, extensive overall creasing and some fraying of the edges, remains better than fair.

The Iron Cross 2nd Class certificate is a preliminary certificate as well, named to the same name, rank, and unit. It is dated “in the field” to September 5, 1916.

Measuring 209 mm (w) x 163 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, and some creasing and fraying of the edges, remains near very fine.

The First War army medic ID card is named to medical NCO of the Reserve Hugo Adrian, 9th Company of Reserve Infantry Regiment No. 15. It is undated.

Measuring 136 mm (w) x 92 mm (h), presenting substantial overall creasing and light scuffing of the edges, remains better than fine.

The Second War army medic ID card is named to medical Feldwebel Hugo Adrian. It is dated to March 15, 1940.

Measuring 142 mm (w) x 119 mm (h), presenting a folding crease and minimal scuffing of the edges, remains very fine.

Footnote: Hugo Otto Ludwig Adrian was born on September 16, 1894 in Bochum (western Germany). He entered into army service on December 12, 1914 and was stationed solely on the western front during the First War. Adrian was promoted to Gefreiter (lance corporal) on October 14, 1918. The same day, he was taken prisoner by the English. Adrian was discharged from service on July 9, 1919. He was redrafted on August 25, 1939 and promoted to Feldwebel (sergeant) on March 1, 1940. Adrian took part in the campaign against France, but beyond that there is no further information. After the war, he was officially discharged from army service by the Allies on May 24, 1946.
