For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Tropenbluse). An example of a tropical blouse belonging to Wehrmacht Signal Troops personnel, as worn in the entire Mediterranean theater of war, including Africa and Southern Italy. The shirt is constructed of olive-drab coloured cotton twill, featuring a traditional turned-down collar that transitions into breast flaps. Each flap has a horizontal-slit breast pocket and a horizontal-slit waist pocket, all secured shut via a scalloped flap and a single pebbled button. The collar is flanked on both sides by collar tabs worn by enlisted men and NCOs of the Nachrichtentruppe, constructed with a silvery-grey background and yellow BeVo-style machine embroidered litzen, measuring 22 mm (w) x 62 mm (l). Both flaps are secured shut in the front via five pebbled buttons that are met by an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the opposing side. Each cuff has a vertical 11 cm long slit that is secured shut via a pressed paper button. This blouse is completely unlined and unmarked. It measures approximately 42 cm across the shoulders (seam to seam), with a sleeve length of 55 cm. This is a worn example, with signs of material fatigue, in overall very fine condition.
