1. A Rare Mountain Guide Badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse featuring a green enameled oval disc overlaid by an edelweiss constructed of bronze magnetic metal, trimmed with a white enameled border bearing an inscription of “HEERESBERGFÜHRER” (“ARMY MOUNTAIN GUIDE”) in Fraktur script, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse edelweiss in place, with a safety pin-style vertical pinback affixed to an elongated oval base plate, maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 42.90 mm (w) x 51.94 mm (h), weighing 35.2 grams, minor chipping is visible to the white enameled ring, the edelweiss has loosened but remains securely attached, and a period repair with solder is visible to the top of the pin, an extremely rare badge in very fine condition.

2. An Anschluss Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.23 mm in diameter, weighing 17.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with some tarnishing evident, in very fine condition, accompanied by its award document, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Graber as a Gefreiter of Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 99, issued in Berlin in November 1938, measuring 205 mm (w) x 290 mm (h), the document has been folded into quadrants and has been punched with five sets of dual eyelets, in fair condition.

3. An Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), above a crossed sword and laurel branch, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “13” for Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 36.11 mm (w) x 44.44 mm (h), weighing 22.0 grams, with loss of finish and minor oxidation evident, in very fine condition, accompanied by its award document, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Graber as a Feldwebel, issued on 5 July 1942, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Oberstleutnant, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), perforated with three sets of dual eyelets, in very fine condition.

4. A Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s cap insignia, consisting of a magnetic metal edelweiss with a gilded stamen, perforated with five holes for sew-on attachment and including a dark green wool liner, maker marked with the logo of Gustav Brehmer, Markneukrichen, and with a manufacture date of “44”, measuring 40 mm (w) x 55 mm (l), with some loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.

5. A set of Heer Gebirgsjäger NCO collar tabs, each constructed of green rayon with machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

6. A small Wehrmacht uniform button, constructed of pebbled aluminum, the reverse retaining a lug and marked “EXTRA FEIN”, measuring 16 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

7. A Third Reich-period Gebirgsjäger commemorative 30 pfennig stamp, measuring 33 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition.

8. A copy of “Dolomiten Wacht”, published in 1920 by Joseph Huber, Munich, constructed of a card stock binding with 80 paginated interior pages featuring black-and-white sketches of alpine scenes in the Tirol region, supplemented with texts and captions, commemorating the joint German and Austro-Hungarian of the Dolomites against Italian forces, measuring 233 mm (w) x 292 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.

9. A mixed lot of 14 private wartime photos showing Heer Gebirgsjäger personnel in the field, all unmarked and printed on period matte photo paper, in overall near extremely fine condition.
