In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Heer Stiefelhose). A well preserved example of Wehrmacht Heer (army) breeches, constructed of field-grey whipcord twill wool. The exterior waist features four belt loops with the addition of an additional strap on either side with metal hardware along the rear of the waistline for adjustment. A pair of straps with black bakelite buttons on the ends is sewn to the rear of the beltline, acting as optional fasteners for a pair of suspenders. The front of the breeches has two rayon-lined side pockets with reinforced diagonal slits and buttonholes meeting black bakelite buttons, and one small horizontal pocket without a button on the right side. The right rear side of these breeches also has a rayon-lined horizontal slit pocket that is secured shut with a matching black bakelite button. The breeches are secured shut in the front via a vertical slit with five bakelite buttons that are met by reinforced button-holes on the opposing side. The interior of these breeches is unlined, except for the beltline, which is lined with matching field-grey rayon. The pant leg cuffs have a vertical slit, with three tan-coloured bakelite buttons, that are met by reinforced buttonholes on the opposing end, as well as nine pairs of metal eyelets and a period correct drawstring for securing the cuff shut against wind and weather. The pair measures approximately 42 cm across, with an inseam of 64 cm, and an overall length of 94 cm. These breeches are in worn condition, with light soiling and some field repairs throughout, as well as with light mothing and some loose threads, in overall better than very fine condition.
