In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Wehrmacht Heer Tropenhose). An example of tropical Wehrmacht (Heer) service trousers as worn by enlisted personnel in the entire Mediterranean theater of war, including Africa and Southern Italy. They are constructed of olive drab-coloured cotton, with one diagonal-slit pocket per side in the front, and with a small horizontal-slit watch fob pocket in the front to the left side of the right pocket. Along the reverse, on the right side, is a horizontal-slit pocket that is secured shut via a single matching stamped zink button. The front is secured shut via six vertically mounted stamped aluminum buttons that are met by hidden reinforced buttonholes on the opposing side. On the waistline is an integrated belt, exiting through the front, weaved through the three-claw magnetic buckle, and then weaved through a single loop hole. These trousers are unlined, for the exception of the waistband and pockets, which are lined with off-white cotton, stamped “63, 90, 101, 96” and “B41” on the inside liner immediately to the right of the frontal opening. Towards the rear of the waistband are a pair of straps with a matching zink button on the ends, for the suspension of optional suspenders. On each cuff is a 15 cm long unsecured slit. They measure approximately 38 cm across the waist (seam to seam), with an inseam of 62 cm, and an overall pant length of 91 cm. An example of a field-worn pair of tropical trousers, with light soiling from use throughout, and a few light stains from corrosion on the fabric (likely from storage), in overall better than very fine condition.
